Great atmosphere, I'm not sure about those square-sounding chimes, though. They don't quite fit nearly as well as the rest of the instruments do, and then they're weak in places. Maybe you could take them out to make the song less crowded, and save them for an interlude?

Nice choir-ish part right there. Not too much to say. Drums are nice, no complaints - Hey, more piano! :D Good composition. This is definitely one of your more lively songs.

You know, the song could do with a nice, long, much more ambient interlude in the middle. Ups diversity, and makes the song longer - though if you could cut a part for the interlude, it would make the diversity even better. Because, honestly, diversity isn't one of this song's strong points. So you know how I was talking about an interlude two paragraphs ago? Maybe what you could do is slowly pull everything out except for the piano and some quiet background strings. Maybe the chimes, too, if they'd fit. Just my ideas, though, and if you don't like them (whether it means changing them before using them or not using them at all) that's perfectly fine. :D

Not much else to say, I just noticed you said you're going to include bass later... you mean a bass guitar or something? Wonder how that'll sound... honestly, I think the song is fine as far as the instruments it currently has are concerned.

I see you've added a bass guitar. I'm neutral on this one, it doesn't add anything great to the song but it works. It's fairly quiet, though. Maybe you should make it just a little bit louder? The song is overall a lot easier on the ears, too, which I assume is the mastering you did. Is it just me, though, or is it a bit quieter?

On your first one: Quite calm, actually. :\ I suppose I'll have to give it time to get energetic as you say it is. ...Aah, there's that energy. It's still quite quiet, but energetic... for an ambient song. :P I'd suggest adding a bit more meat to your drums, especially your snare - it's up to you, really, how it should be done, and that's if you agree. :P It also needs something to fill the empty spots up... a pad for the lower ranges, maybe?

Second one: Genius title, genius placing. Wip 2 2 2 2 2 2 2 2 2 22222222222222222222 under Autos, Vehicles, Race, Crash, Offroad. o_O This sounds quite like Autumn is Close, though a bit calmer. The piano composition is a bit simple rhythmwise, I'd suggest a bit more work here. I really like the atmosphere again, but the drums are a bit quiet, like in the first one. Though maybe it's because right before looking at these songs, I was listening to a bunch of much bassier and energetic trance? :P You decide.

"I eat moogs for lunch?" It's definitely an odd one. There's just a litle bit of trance influence, too. Hmmm.... >:) Not too much to say but it's rather plain.

Wonderful effects in the underwater one! :D They do get in the way a bit too much sometimes. I'd suggest slowly taking them out somehow after whatever you'd call the intro is over, to make room for the actual music. ;) Can't think of much to say about the rest of the song, though the composition is nice. Aah - there was a sort of distorted tom roll? I didn't like the sound of that too much... just a thought.

Nice orchestrated intro. Not much comments. It becomes quite unique-sounding by 0:45ish. Not much to comment on...

I'm not so sure about that "pyew" sliding-down synth I hear... (I hear it for the first time at 0:18.) It doesn't seem to fit as well as everything else in my opinion.

That arp's becoming crazy fast. XD Also, the little drum breaks at the end of every fourth measure are pretty fast considering the other drum hits are on each of the beats, instead of both the beat and the offbeat like a normal trance song. Something like what I hear at around 2:48 would be a bit more fitting, at least in my opinion.

The arp changed a bit at 3:38, though I don't really hear that change a little bit later. Oh well. :\ The song slows down to a stop, which works, I guess. I'd change the title to go along with the flow of the song, and how it starts slowly, speeds up, and then slows down to a stop at the end... just a thought, though, if you like Pleiades that's fine with me too. :P

Well SBB it seems like as of late, ur gettin some real terrible comments, so ill start this off on a good note. For the most part I really enjoy your music. Its kinda lead me into newgrounds and allowed me to explore and find all sorts of music, so thanks for that.
Regarding the 2 songs, both are kinda disturbing. i wasnt a fan of the increased tempo of pleiades as it progressed, and i think it might need something to break up the synth a bit. Just some sort of respite.

With respect to santa i got thru maybe the first 30sec before i got overly creeped out by santa and had to close the tab. Maybe it gets better but i just couldn't listen to it, especially since u pointed out michael jackson lol.

understandably these are both under construction, so nothing against either, however they feel very diffrent from ur previous additions to NG. at this point im rambling, but keep workin man, good to know ur making more lovely music for the masses.

Planet: The first time I've heard a sawtooth in an ambient song. :O Or at least, the first time in a while. It might be just me but the drums generally sound a bit loud. So do your leads - this sounds like quite an energetic song, actually. I think that the mixing (and EQing in some places) could do with a bit of work, but otherwise it's pretty good. :)

VenusConcert: Another energetic song, huh? :P That high-pitched sineish synth is a bit shrill. The tom transition towards the end is really loud, too - I really think it should be brought down a bit. Again, work on mixing and EQing, but otherwise pretty good. I think I like this one more than Planet. :D

pianoanddrumsyay: Judging by the title and what I'm hearing so far, this one's probably in an earlier stage of production than the other two, so I'll judge it accordingly. Still, I hope you're going to add something to the intro, as the piano by itself leaves the song sounding pretty empty. Mixing and EQing is generally better in this song than in the other two... the harmony in this song is pretty nice, too. :D It's a bit long but I think this one's the best of the three. :D

EatMyAlien - Seriously, where do these titles come from? o_O I should try opening the .rns file that you uploaded in my Reason 4 demo sometime... I doubt I'll be able to access it all but I could learn a thing or two. ;) As for the song itself, it's a really interesting mix between ambient and... industrial? Your drums pull off that feeling really well... and you could get something really original by building on it. >:)

FallingFeather - I don't really know about this one. Not a style of music I hear very often, so I can't really come up with as much. :P It sounds quite plain and empty, though that's not as much of a bad thing as it usually is - and in a few senses it's good. Your synths are nicely chosen, no complaints. The drums are a bit unnecessary, though if you HAVE to have them, you could make them a bit simpler to fit with the "plain" theme this song apparently has. That's about all...

Lost - The composition in the introduction is some of the better composition I've heard out of you in a while... and then the rest comes in, and whoa. :D Just about the only thing I can think of is to lower the volume of the snare drum just a little bit, so it's not so overpowering. Also, you could submit this as is, in my opinion - but if you're going to continue to work on it, and add more to it, it had BETTER stay that good, or get better. >:) This is really something awesome, I'll definitely review it once you submit the finished version. :D

Nice intro section, (so much for the last paragraph :P) great pads. I hear this drum that sounds like a glitched-up kick drum... I don't like it. :\

In comes the panflute, though it's REALLY quiet. You might want to raise its volume a tad.

I hear tribalish drums now, very nicely chosen. :D No comments, great job with them, though. The only fault I can come up with is that they could do with a little more activity in the low range... in fact, that applies to the entire song as a whole.

I hear a REALLY loud snare, now. o_O It sounds really out of place compared to the rest of the drums - I like the sample, but you might want to lower the volume/carefully EQ it so that it's quieter without changing the feeling of it too much...

Odd synths I hear coming in, now. There could be a bit more harmony here, instead of the low synth plyaing a minor chord or, now and then, a slightly different chord. I swear, it feels like I've heard that high synth from you before. O_o

Woah, a choir came out of nowhere! :D Interesting - it's a great choir, but I'm not sure how well it fits with the song. Maybe it could have come in along with a transition into a more intense, energetic section? That would definitely give you something awesome - at least in my opinion. :P

Tempo rubato (Italian stolen time) is a musical term for slightly speeding up or slowing down the tempo of a piece at the discretion of the soloist or the conductor. I don't think that was EXACTLY what you were doing, but the piano had that effect with the rhythms.
